We're seeking community feedback on the draft Council Plan
The Council Plan is a four-year strategic plan that is informed by the Community Vision and describes the priority issues, objectives and actions for Moreland until 2025. The Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan is also integrated with the Council Plan and outlines ways to address health and wellbeing priorities for Moreland.
How has the draft Council Plan been developed?
The draft Council Plan has been developed through three stages of community engagement as part of the Imagine Moreland program. You can read reports or watch the video about our past community engagement on the draft Council Plan in the document library of this webpage.
What happens next?
Submissions on the draft Council Plan closed at 5pm on Monday 20 September. Thanks to everyone that provided us with feedback. All of your submissions are now being considered.
Next week we will host Community Feedback Forum events to enable community members to talk about their submissions directly with Councillors. Then on 14 October we will be in touch with our community to let them know the outcomes of the submission process.
The level of engagement pursued at this stage of the Council Plan development is the level of ‘consult’ on the International Association of Public Participation Spectrum (IAP2). This means we commit to keeping you informed about this project, listening to and acknowledging the concerns and aspirations you raise in submissions, and we will provide feedback on how your input influenced decision making.
